this is a long term reading challenge for myself based off of this disturbing book iceberg list. (youtube mirror)
this challenge is inspired by my interest to find out how many of these books are actually worthwhile, and also because there are a couple of books ive already read (and liked) that are on there. obviously this is all gonna be my personal opinion and i am not easily bothered by most subjects, but your mileage may vary so/and take anything i say with a grain of salt. it realistically is going to take me years to read all of these also, but lol
i plan on having a section for each book that looks something like this:

as well as any trigger/content warnings, and some sort of thoughts/review for each respective book. table layout and contents may change over time
there is also a section for books ive read that arent on the iceberg but belong on this page, same thing will apply
- i did not make the original iceberg, if you have any problems with how it is laid out it is literally not my problem so dont yell at me about it
- im really not interested in the last ~3 tiers of the iceberg atm. the 6th tier might make it on here in some form eventually but dont expect it to
- also i am not interested in reading manifestos lol
- very legitimately act like an adult about this page. theres a lot of serious topics so be nice to yourself if you cant stomach it. similarly, be normal about ME making and doing this challenge. follow the ancient proverb of 'if u dont like, dont read'
- some of the authors of these books are shitty people and im gonna try to find pdfs where i can. im NOT buying all these books that would be insane anyways
- trigger/content warnings for liteally everything, but i will try to keep my comments as safe for work as possible
- general spoiler warning for every book, ill try to mark big spoilers where i can, but some of these are hard to discuss without spoiling anything

- not all books on the iceberg are in the sidebar atm, theres like 300+ of them. currently only books im interested in are listed (minus anything with strikethrough)
